Tip #3 – View and modify many schedules at one time

Opening multiple Master Schedules at one time can really speed things up.

The Multiple Master Schedules option under the Schedules menus is a quick way to view many crew members at one time. This will come in handy when dealing with these unprecedented IROPS conditions. Just be careful not to process too many at one time.

Select all the desired parameters and all the crew members that fit will populate alphabetically. Chose all the crew members you want to see.

NOTE: If too many crews are chosen the system will run out of memory before they all load. Recommended number of crews to load at once is about 20. This number will depend on how many applications are opened at once in the users computer (due to RAM Memory), and also how much memory the computer has installed. 

The chosen crews will all load, and this screen will appear. This may take a minute or two, depending on how many you chose to open at-one-time.

Through this menu you can make multiple changes to many different crews simultaneously by clicking on the activities just as you would in the single schedule option.

Make sure you evaluate the schedules to apply your changes. You can select the “Evaluate Modified Schedules” in the upper toolbar, and the system will start from the top and evaluate all the modified schedules one by one. Or you can click on one crew member at a time and select the “Evaluate” button in the bottom toolbar. This will only evaluate and process the crew member you have selected.
